I Simply Can't...
bring myself to the point of supporting any of the remaining candidates. I've tried and tried. It can't be done.

1. It would have been easier
if we'd never had Joe. Then we wouldn't have him to compare the other candidates to. Its like going from Guiness to Miller Light.

2. I will vote for the nominee. They are all better than the gopers.
I can't get excited about any of them tho.

3. I can't in the primaries
Edited on Tue Jan-22-08 02:49 PM by DesertedRose
Close to picking Edwards, but....nope, I can't either.

I will have to take a clothespin into the voting booth in the GE.

4. I'm with you guys -- all the way.
Tsegat is right that it would have been better if he hadn't had Joe. Honestly, nobody can compare.

The only thing that will keep me from having to have a clothespin on my nose in November is that I view my vote as keeping the R's OUT. THAT I can get behind, although regardless of the nom, I'll be worried that won't be enough..... :scared:

I'm not even trying anymore to find the least offensive candidate :7.

5. I Don't Know...
why I'm so pissed off lately. I go through cycles. I'm just missing Joe. I love my country. How could have this happened?

I'm so depressed.

6. It is depressing.
And frustrating, because I will never understand. Even if it wasn't Biden, then why not Dodd?
Dodd would be an excellent choice because of the economic crisis we are in right now.

Last nite at the debate, Hillary talked about working towards public financing of elections.
That is our only hope. No, it won't help this time, but we need to keep our eye on the future.

7. They all pay lip service to public financing
during the campaign, but front-runners don't really want to let go of the big bucks. After the election, it will just be swept under the rug once again!

8. Maybe we will have to bug Biden about it.
But - if he leads this once again, will it look like sour grapes?

9. He has nothing to lose
and there are other senators who would join him.

10. Me too.
I'm out until the GE & even then, if I don't put it on my calendar I may miss it due to lack of interest.

11. Just make sure you vote for the Dem nominee
I am very depressed because I dont think either of our two "chosen" candidates will win. But even if you dont like them at the very least imagine what a Supreme Court will do with two more conservative members. This election is extremely important.

12. I'm with you, Steely.
The current b.s. sounds like such crap, especially after being a Clarkie and Bidenite. I really do give up.

14. It wouldn't be so bad
if we hadn't already been exposed to Joe. If he hadn't run, we wouldn't know what we are missing. I just can't adjust to "politics as usual" now.

13. Biden gets my primary vote, and clothespins with duct tape
will be necessary for the GE.
