You guys FISA bill vote on C-Span NOW. I think Joe is there.
They're voting on whether to "table" the Judiciary Committee bill (we WANT the JC bill) -- I'm not sure what "table" means.

2. Joe DIDN'T vote -- but others are coming in now to vote. That happened
the other night -- he wasn't there during the first go-around, but arrived later.

We want the vote to be NO

So far, there were a lot of AYES -- not nearly as many 'no's' -- I will be SO PISSED if this passes.

8. I saw him, too! I knew it was him. Good for him! More 'no's' are coming.
If it's REALLY close, like say by TWO votes -- I'm going to tear into a couple of candidates I know. :7

So they're just filing in at random order and their votes are announced? My connection via internet is a little clunky so I can't tell if I'm missing stuff or it's mostly silence.

13. They did this last night (or was it Tuesday?) too. The took an initial vote
of who was there, then when someone else arrives they go up to that bench and check in, and give their vote.

and he's the one who is sponsoring the main FISA bill?
