regular coverage.

PLEASE let it show up on YouTube.

17. MSNBC doesn't live feed regular coverage or their regular shows, just
special broadcasts, so we're screwn. I know our reporters will do a good job, though.

I know that the governor gave the Dem's response immediately after the SOTU. Then it looks like O's response to it. I don't think they've had time to put Joe's up yet -- one of the blessed cable owners can let us know.

Good find! Thanks!

51. I raised my two daughters until they each hit middle school, and then
each of them came back to me from age 14 until they got married. I thought you were talking, maybe, about grandchildren. I could still have the grandkids over and that would give your daughters something creative to do, anyway. The best way to take the starch out of teenage girls is to give them a couple of imaginative children who don't rely on television to entertain themselves, to entertain them. Some people are natural parent types. That's me. I was born to be a teacher and a father. That's a pretty functional combination.

30. Too much....too many good lines...
Edited on Mon Jan-28-08 11:28 PM by 1corona4u
can't repeat them....he slammed Bush plenty...I'm sure it will be on youtube soon....but they asked him if he was going to back either candidate, and he went into how Obama did good and that the Kennedy endorsment was 'profound', and his speech in SC was good, etc., but still said that he thought Hillary would be the nominee...

Oh, one thing that he did say was, about the AA and a woman running for president, being something that he has beem dreaming about since he got into the senate, but jokingly said that he never dreamed that he would be caught in the middle of that. Everyone laughed.

34. I caught the last few minutes
He said that the people don't care about what's happening on wall street, they care about their street and their street isn't looking so good. Basically he said that Bush is out of touch and his state of the union doesn't address the long term problems of the middle class.

Joe spoke the truth again.

36. Well, first he hacked on george for basicly doing nothing
Biden gave his opinion of his speech and discussed how he had failed to provide answers to the problems with the economy, Iraq and how there is not any real progress towards peace and certainly not near ready to get the troops out. I have a short, short memory. This is best I can remember. Really good bush bashing.

Then when asked about the endorsement of Obama by the Kennedys he said that was impressive and important. Poor description there by me...... Then said good things about Hillary and how she has an excellent chance to win the nomination. So he pretty well seem to split the baby, that's where my description of Biden being a gentleman comes in. Chris and Keith really treated him with great respect and thanked him for running for pres. as he injected very important issues in the process.

after biden was done, they couldn't stop talking.

43. it may have been a long day for him
submitting legislation earlier today (on his senate site), FISA

And they probably don't prep him with makeup, or fuss with the lighting or whatever, so closeups probably aren't good.

But yeah, he looked kinda tired. And having watched the video now I want to cry

Joe was on one time and that was very brief. I've never missed a single Countdown, so I know he was only on that one time. During tonight's interview, I picked up the respect in Keith's voice. I'd like to believe there was a bit of regret as well.
