Have you guys seen this video?? Ben posted it on LittleClarkies thread. I'd
never seen it before - I was holding my breath watching it. Even if you've seen it, it's worth another view.

I can see why you were so impressed, Ben. Thanks for the link!

1. I remember seeing that on TV
The media actually covered it, but can't remember where I saw it.

2. I watched him give it on the Senate floor.
I was really mad at him that day - I was over at the Biden blog raising hell, over here trashing Biden like some others we know.

He gave that speech after the funding vote for the war earlier this year. He was the only dem candidate that voted 'aye'.
When he was giving that speech, I was screaming at him to shut up. I was done supporting Biden.

Then I started thinking about the other candidates - who would I support? I couldn't answer that. A couple of days later I started thinking how he announced how he was going to vote 2 days before the vote took place. I started thinking about how Hillary and Obama waited until the vote was almost over to cast their NO votes - and how they were the wimps - not Biden. And even tho I didn't agree with him, I respected him for being upfront about his vote and not playing it safe like the others. Now I completely understand why he voted the way he did. And I respect him even more. I love it how talks about how Hillary and Obama voted to cut off funding for the troops while saying at the same time they are going to keep them there until 2013.

It was really nice to watch that speech again and this time to listen to what he had to say.

4. I'm at the place with Biden, where if he votes "wrong" IMO, then I'm going to
try to understand "why". I trust him to the point that he feels he's doing what's best, and I should look into the reasoning to learn something I didn't know or at least to understand his motives.

Man, I feel so lucky Biden is running - it's so EASY to support him. Even though the election is far away, just knowing he's in the Senate and head of the CFA makes me feel like I'm being taken care of.
