The catch: They don’t agree yet on what should be in it.

House Minority Whip Eric Cantor wants a document, akin to Newt Gingrich’s 1994 Contract With America, that identifies specific pieces of legislation Republicans could pass if they win back the House. He thinks Republicans should “put up or shut up,” an aide close to the process said.

So does Indiana Rep. Mike Pence, the House Republican Conference chairman. The party doesn’t need “sloganeering,” someone familiar with his thinking said, and he favors an approach that “tells people what

1. So yet another Contract On America by the RepubliCONS
Look how awful they made the country the last time the contract was issued. We got the bush selected by the Dancing Supremes for 8 horrible years. Look what a mess they made of our country.

3. A contract is only as good as the parties who agree to it.
And we all know what republicans are good for.

4. This time they will be slaughtered. Their "Contract with America" was a failure.
And we will remind the public of that fact. We will also remind that Republicans and their policies are failures. Look at what Bush left the people after he left office. Look at all of the men and women that died in Iraq and Afghanistan because of his lies. And the men, women, and children that died because of 9/11 when he and Condaleeza Rice refused to pay attention to the warning signs.

5. Nice...but remember these are Congressional races.
mot Presidential. I honestly think pulling the "w" card has run it's course.

We need to run against the Party of NO and the Party of Broken Promises and mo constraints.

6. I agree. But they were a party to what happened back then.

And if they try using anything similar to "Contract with America" it should be thrown right back at them too. Your "Broken Promises" would tie in with the "Contract with America" as well.

On edit:

In addition, congressional races should hit Republican incumbents with their record. Too many haven't done squat while in office. Their legislative record in too many cases are negligible. More times than not I believe legislation they have sponsored consisted of naming a Post Office building or recognizing some stupid ass sports team than anything substantial.
