What the heck is with the Democrats--don't they want to win elections?
PA-12: GOP Internal Poll Claims Narrow Lead In House Special
If you are buying what the GOP is selling, the Red team has a decent shot at flipping a long-Democratic House seat next month. An internal poll, leaked to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, shows Republican Tim Burns leading Democrat Mark Critz by a 45-41 margin. The article does not a potentially perilous discrepancy--the fact that the NRCC has already thrown national money into the district, while their Democratic counterparts have not followed suit.

Okay, the NRCC has thrown national money into this district while the Democrats haven't!? come-on haven't they learned anything from MA that you can't take even Democratic leaning districts for granted?

4. former governor of VA, Tim Kaine, who I think has been doing an absolutely lousy job, but
that is who Obama wanted.

5. Well if this is true it is disconcerting that nothing seems to have been learned
From Scott Brown. Perhaps their internals are showing something different or they are focusing on November hopefully. In any case we shall see.

7. Of course it's a GOP internal so it could be suspect, but still dems need to really compete in these
special elections.

10. True but I believe Dems have been doing great in the Special election department.
MA with Scott Brown was the only real surprise loss and that could be blamed on a multitude of things. Tim Kaine is no Dean but I don't think he has been doing a bad job. We have had no embarassing revelations or accounts of misspent money. The fundraising has been much better than the RNC. He doesn't give obnoxious interviews to the media. Now we shall see what happens in November and there may be things that are revealed that may make me change my mind. I am expecting losses because we are overextended in typicall GOP areas but if the DNC is doing its job and have a plan it should not be the bloodbath the media is aching for to bash the President and Dems.

8. Tim Kaine is HORRIBLE in his current position.
He is doing a lousy job, certainly nothing even comparable to what Howard Dean did.

Kaine needs to go, he's a problem. Obama needs to get Dean back in, or the Dems will be losing a lot of elections over the next couple of years.

11. Burns is swamping local TV with ads; attractive wife, children, all the "right" twists on
issues. Critz's ads are flat and boring.
