Remember, before the repub nominee faces Obama, he or she has to face fellow repubs. I think it would be a beautiful thing to witness.

2. Not only that, but ...
It could further divide the Repugs at a very critical time.

4. That's my thinking, too. She will cry 'sexism' at any criticism of her
yet she will be nasty as can be.

15. I agree and that's the same thing I thought as soon as I saw this
She can cry sexism and yet rally people to be as nasty as they can. You can't play the victim AND attack people at the same time. Someone's going to wake up and notice eventually.

3. if she runs, they'll figure a way not to have debates
they don't like to discuss actual issues, anyway.

5. Unfortunately they will not go after her on the merits.
First of all they don't have the collective IW necessary to have an intellightent debate.
Secondly, they do not have the individual courage to try and knock off their superstar..

It is more likely that they will try and ignore her during the debate.

10. They will kiss her butt ...
She is going to crash and burn as a candidate if she runs ...

They all know it, and they will kiss her butt to try to be the one who gets to inheret her lunatics ... If they are mean to Sarah, they won't get the zombies who love her ...

6. She will run as a TeaParty candidate ... and avoid all GOP primary challenges
She will avoid any debate with GOP candidates but the media will jump on every chance to let her rebut them.

...and later demand to debate Obama in the national campaign.

9. The outside $$$$ is why
she will run. By 2012, she will be fading (in more ways than one), and will need to bump up her public exposure to keep the big bucks rolling in. Money is very addictive, and she has no marketable skills.

11. She may not run as a Republican ...
she may be the Tea Party candidate, which might insure Obama wins.

Remember Ross Perot?

20. Ross Perot did not help Clinton win
Exit polls on election day showed that Perot voters would've split 1/3rd Clinton 1/3rd Bush and 1/3rd stayed home if Perot were not in the race. Clinton was leading Poppy in double digits during the fall and after Perot re-entered the race got much tighter.

Perot was pro-choice and to the left of Clinton on NAFTA. Republicans use the myth that Clinton wouldn't have won without Perot, but if Perot helped anybody it was probably Bush. The one difference is that the electoral college might have been closer without Perot, but Clinton still would've easily won.

13. I honestly think she would be hard for them to destroy because
the drivel that comes out of her mouth usually makes zero sense so it's hard to argue with her. Plus, she can do some of that "fancy pageant walking" as a diversion.

16. The other GOP wannabes may not have to work all that hard to destroy
Palin, who may be so discredited by then anyway that she has no chance at all unless she forms a third party ticket.

If people like Mike Pence and George Pataki for god's sake are considering a run for the White House then I'm guessing no one in the Republican Party is seriously worried about Sarah Palin.

them before a debate.

She is an embarrassment to hard working honest women across the country.

and I'm sure he has plenty of good info also, too :-). Where to start? The almost-in-laws, Todd's business dealings, Sarah's John Birch Society connection, etc., etc.
