A young Muslim American female student holds the U.S. flag during a 'Children of the World' student pageant at the Islamic Center of America in Dearborn, Michigan, March 26, 2010. A growing school of thought among counterterrorism specialists, and within the administration of U.S. President Barack Obama, argues that law enforcement should engage more deeply with the Muslim community. Their case has been bolstered by encouraging examples of outreach programs.

Rick Walker (R), a member of a group of supporters of US President Barack Obama that call themselves 'The Other 95 Percent,' argues with Jim Holderness (C) of Baltimore, Maryland, as he holds his 3-year-old son Evan, during a counter rally to the Tea Party's rally on the National Mall in Washington, DC, April 15, 2010.

US First Lady Michelle Obama (L) embraces indigenous student and human rights activist Maricela Zurita Cruz, from the Chatina ethnic group of Oaxaca state, after a roundtable discussion with twelve Mexican students' leaders from different regions and ethnic groups of Mexico on April 15, 2010 in Mexico City during the third day of her visit.

WASHINGTON - APRIL 16: Ann O'Leary, wife of University of California at Berkley Law Professor Goodwin Liu, holds their 1-month old son Emmett and sits with their daughter, Violet, 3, before Liu's confirmation hearing to be U.S. Circuit Judge for the Ninth Circuit before the Senate Judiciary Committee April 16, 2010 in Washington, DC. Liu, who has been very critical of conservative judges and nominees, may be the toughest fight over any of President Barack Obama's appeals court nominees because of Liu's liberal views.

A Burundian child refugee wearing a T-shirt with a picture of U.S. President Barack Obama as he awaits treatment at the Katumba refugee settlement in northwest Tanzania, April 15, 2010. Tanzania has naturalised 162,000 refugees from Burundi in what the United Nations refugee agency UNHCR said on Friday was a historic move that other countries should copy. 1. Thank you for the pictures!
I love the pictures of Liu with his daughter. It is refreshing to see the people who Obama trusts and how they really interact with children. Usually when I see Republicans with their children, the children are just stage props.
