PAC president to Lindsey Graham: “Come out of the closet”
Virulent rhetoric is the staple of Tea Party Rallies. But very few people try to expose prominent U.S. senators as gay.

This weekend’s rally in Greenville, S.C., proved to be an exception. William Gheen, president of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC, a speaker at the rally told the crowd Sen. Lindsey Graham is gay.

1. Hey lets start that rumor about bachmann cause no self respecting
man ( and I have to add woman) would have anything to do with her.

2. Well, we need to be fair and honest here
People have been commenting on Graham's possible orientation for years - including us.

I'm not sure who these "very few people" are, because practically the entire LGBT community has been gunning for him for as long as there have been internets.

To be sure, the Right's motives in outing him are different from the ours.

But the idea of "What kind of terrible people would call a Senator gay?!" is really disingenuous. DU alone has dozens of Graham threads to that effect from over the years.

5. Very, very true. The only thing that needs to be said about Graham is that he is a bigot because of
his views on gay rights. http://www.ontheissues.org/Domestic/Lindsey_Graham_Civil_Rights.htm
I think it is none of our business...being a possible self hating gay damages the person more then anything else.

4. Oh dear.
Seriously, though, it's a shame that this is an issue at all. Imagine the serious problems we could together solve if it were not for the knuckle draggers on the right.

6. I have no problem with this
other than the fact that the Teabag scum think this is somehow a "negative" thing to reveal about someone.

I don't think the media should have a double standard. IF they write about the family lives of straight politicians (which they do), then they should do exactly the same for gay ones.

8. This is absurd
How is Graham's sexual orientation relevant to the immigration issue?

If he takes a pro-bigotry stand on any civil rights issue, then sure, kick that closet door open. But I'm just not understanding why anybody is cheering on what Gheen and his fellow fundagelical goons are up to.
