2. That's why it is my favorite country on EARTH
I was stationed there twice in the 80s and 90s while I was in the Navy and those folks HATE the Tories. They don't like England that much full stop but they REALLY hate Tories. Good for them. Hopefully one day soon the SNP can help them gain full independence.

25. Scotland has been printing its own bank notes for decades, I think.
I remember when I was traveling in the U.K., I acquired a 5-Pound note printed by the Bank Of Scotland. It was pretty cool. I should have saved it as a souvenir.

9. Unfortunately, that map is close to a population distribution map
Blue areas being where the most people live. 65 million in England, 5 million in Scotland. We're always outnumbered by dipshits.

10. Satire: Susan Boyle Votes Labour!
Evidently, she truly does vote 'Labour'.

http://www.thespoof.com/news/spoof.cfm?headline=s1i74443

Susan Boyle cast her vote in the UK General Election today for the Labour Party. It is not a surprise as she lives in an area of Scotland steeped in the socialist workers struggle against the bosses.

She proudly wore a red scarf to show her allegiance to the Labour Party, whose colours are of course the red of Socialism and Communism.

However, many of her fanatical followers believe that the red scarf is their invention. They are unwilling to believe that their heroine could be a Socialist, that being the nastiest word they know in their part of the world.

Scotland is a Socialist country. The fansite have even sent a member to Susan's house to dissuade her from voting Labour it is reported. Miss Boyle went along with the fan's guidance but gave a knowing wink to our reporter after the fan had left her house.

"I'm not so silly," the singer is reported to have said, " They think I'm easy to talk round but I'll only ever vote Labour. All my family do and I will as well. My father would turn in his grave if I voted for any other political party."

Meanwhile Gordon Brown, sits at home, biting his fingernails awaiting his fate.

13. Yeah, my Tory-lovin' in-laws...
I suppose as close to an English teabagger as you can get. They live in council homes, get their stipend from the government etc...but just hate those immigrants because THEY'RE moochers. My husband says they don't want anyone horning in on their scams.

5. I'm guessing blue = Tory and red = Labour, but what do the others
represent? Are the green Greens, and what about the yellow and tan?
