14. My young cousin graduated from Hampton
and we went for his graduation about 10 years ago. He was so proud to hear that the President spoke at Hampton!

He's quoting Thomas Jefferson. Then he exhorts the graduates to stay involved in the 200-year old experiment that this nation represents: "It can only work if each of us stays informed and engaged." President Obama is giving them a mini-civics lesson.
