"We'll bring our combat troops back from Iraq by the end of this summer".

I don't think it's physically possible. But I guess we can chalk it down and see what happens.

3. We'll see...time lines aren't a strong suite for this administration
I also am not too keen on accepting drawing down to a 1/3 or so of peak forces, re-labeling them, and continuing to be stuck footing the bill for 50,000 pairs of boots over there for infinity but will accept the crumb ration for now, if it can be had.
