4. I think this is actually a good thing.
I'm tired of African-Americans being seen as some kind of monolithic entity with no divergent opinions, interests, or beliefs.

8. 100% agreed.

Everyone has a mind of their own and i figure there was going to be a point when many rich african americans realized it was more beneficial to side with corrupt republicans than corrupt democrats.

On the plus side, maybe this will dilute the racism out of the republican party finally.

5. Uncle Tom's Cabin
After the things Republicans have said about Obama regarding race, I don't see how any black person would want to run as a Republican.

6. Republicans get more money ... greater perks and kickbacks.
Edited on Tue May-25-10 09:27 AM by ShortnFiery
Republicans don't even have to try to be for "the people" ... their whole reason for being is to prop up rich corporations. They mislead some good, but easily swayed, working and middle class people that in order to get jobs we must give all our wealth to "the man."

The Corporate United States of America is morphing into one big Debtors' Prison.

Captain, Road Prison 36: You gonna get used to wearin' them chains after a while, Luke. Don't you never stop listenin' to them clinking. 'Cause they gonna remind you of what I been saying. For your own good.

Luke: Wish you'd stop bein' so good to me, cap'n.

AA interests its all about the money ...Clarence Thomas. They will talk against any thing that will benefit AA then when the ConS turn on their asses they come running back to AA crying racism when they have told AA there isn't any.

7. "Ok, where all the white women at!"
Funny line from Blazing Saddles and figured it seemed appropriate for the moment with this republican party.

9. I label these "republicans" as self-haters. I have never understood why
ANY minority would EVER IN A MILLION YEARS vote or align with conservatism.
