Sometimes Democrats shot themselfs in the foot like Joe Sastak
Opening his mouth constantly talking about he was offered a job but wanted to stand for principles now has created a fire storm in the stinking media and the rethugs asking for a Special Council. And now Joe is in hiding because he doesn't want to be asked about the job offer.

12. Issa is leading the charge...
and they talk about it 24/7 on Fox. I remember many times during the Bush years when I heard one repuke or the other talking about how they were in meetings and how they didn't want this person or the other to run for a certain seat like McConnell they do it all the time. Last night they had on Newt talking about impeachment..

If THIS is all it would take to bring Obama down (after EIGHT YEARS of Bushco's illegal, immoral, unethical behavior), then we are truly lost as a country!!!

30. The Left advocated the impeachment of Bush and Cheney for lying to get us into a war in Iraq
and for the prosecution of Bush officials, such as John Yoo, for law breaking. The Left has been consistent in insisting that the rule of law be applied equally.

The self-described moderates have no moral standing whatsoever when they complain about GOP hypocritical calls for prosecution and investigations when they themselves failed to uphold the rule of law.

3. Sestak is an asshole. I see why people hate him. Obama didn't need more problems, but
Sestak gave them to him. If I was in Pa, I wouldn't vote for him. Fuck him.

6. We'll see.
If the allegations are true, then it's not going to be pretty. I hope that no one has to lie to cover their ass.

10. Of course the allegations are true. This isn't new. This is what happens in Wash. Rove did it,
CLinton's people did it, and every other pres before them did it. It doesn't make it right, but it happens. My problem is Sestak bringing it out in the open to win politically. He's an asshole for that. I'll never forgive him. And I hope he loses. The Republicans need to control a part of the government, so they can get some of the blame.

8. Seems like that's what you are busy doing.
I realize you think we care about everything that you are thinking, as you watch Television,
and certainly I have been guilty of that....having a lot to say as I watch television....so I understand. However.....right now, what you are doing is putting up negative ass headlines all over the place here at DU, right after an important press conference, and it is starting to get on my nerves. If only you didn't write such fucked up headlines, I'd respect what you have to say just a little bit more.

This is Democratic Underground, and we are not interested in helping the Right defeat those we should be supporting, and we shouldn't be interested in attempting to create a forum filled with
only the most negative pessimistic accusatory speculations.

to run I said then he would get his ass caught up by running on Fox trying to prove something and getting angry because the Pres was backing Spector,he talks too damn much. He was about to get something else started on the night he won by getting to excited..

11. Joe Sestak told the truth, but he won't name names
President Obama promised today to have an official Administration response. The Prez could have named names, but he didn't.

C'mon Rahm, come clean! If this was the typical political "I'll scratch your back, if you scratch mine," then there is nothing to worry about it. I would dismiss it as another example of the corruption that has ruled the Beltway since forever. If there was more than that, then it is better to get a lawyer and keep your mouth shut.

17. If he is asked, then he should name names....that's the only way
that your assessment that he is telling the truth will compute.

Meanwhile, without you knowing jack shit, you accuse a named person
of being guilty of something. How is that "truth"? Cause your approach
sounds like it's OK for you to smear others without a shred of evidence....
while blasting at those you don't seem to agree with.
I consider that an hypocritical approach to commenting on politics.

19. Ten to one odds Rahm had a hand in the Sestak offer
Rahm has played the role of John Erlichman and H.R. Haldeman since January 2009.

So I'll leave it to you and your speculative unproved sensational name calling tactics
to examplify what you are all about when it comes to political commentary.

and his single bullet theory.

When it comes to PA, Specter is a saint when compared to Frank Rizzo.
