Sarah Palin on Osama Bin Laden's Death

May 02, 2011 08:40 AM EDT

Sarah Palin celebrated the death of Osama Bin Laden with a Facebook note praising America's men and women in uniform, but made no mention of the nation's Commander-in-Chief.

"This is a victory for the American people, for the victims who were heartlessly murdered on September 11 and in Al Qaeda's other numerous attacks, and for all the peace-loving people of the world," Palin said in the note.

The killing of Osama bin Laden is also a victory for President Barack Obama, a fact acknowledged by many of Sarah Palin's potential rivals for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination.

Conservatives are still looking for who to blame for the financial mess (teachers? union members? foreclosed homeowners?), EXCEPT the bankers who caused it.

4. This is the standard operating line of many on the Cons...

...I've seen this too many times over the last 12 hours to think it's not organized.

From Andy Card to Sarah Palin, the standard line is to praise the troops, the intelligence community, the American people, Bush the lesser, but to conveniently leave the President of the United States out of the matrix.

Pretty shoddy, and totally transparent.

If this thing had failed we would only be hearing about how the President can't lead, how he was a failure, how he didn't give the troops the tools they needed to succeed...blah, blah, blah.

As the President opined the other day, these people are nothing more than carnival barkers and hucksters.

10. I noticed that

I checked her Twitter and Facebook to see what her reaction was and I was little surprised that she chose not to mention the President in her post. Her response is complete devoid of anything real, it's canned.
