Governor Daniels Says He Could Beat President Obama In 2012
:eyes:

Posted Wednesday May 11, 2011 5 hours, 13 minutes ago

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (WIBQ) -- Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels still has not decided whether he'll make a run for the White House, but says he could beat President Obama. Daniels said yesterday that he would stand a good chance of beating the incumbent Democrat in the White house if he were to run. A week ago, Daniels said he wasn't ready to debate the President on foreign policy. The governor then said a Daniels campaign for President might not hold up because of a lack of support. Daniels said he's still a few weeks away from making a decision about running for the top job in the country.

3. All bark...
...no bite. Go for it Mitchy. You couldn't beat Pres. Obama in a lively game of miniature golf.

Love how these RWers say, "I 'could' beat him, but I'm not sure I wanna run..." Well, I "could" be a supermodel, but Tyra hasn't returned my call. I "could" be a princess, but Harry hasn't dumped the bimbo, yet. I "could" be Mistress of the Universe, but George Lucas has been preoccupied.

Piss or get off the pot.

11. Actually he is not barking much
not yet at least. I hope that does not imply anything about his possible bite.

For somebody who seems so sure that he could beat President Obama next year, he does seem rather........indecisive? I wonder if he really believes what he is saying. Frankly, I think that most Republican insiders have written off 2012- witness the current crop of candidates considering running and/or already announced. The prospects for them looked bleak before Obama got OBL and I imagine that they are looking even bleaker right now (at the moment). IMHO Obama would have to stumble PRETTY BADLY between now and November 2012 to lose re-election. The economy and jobs situation still sucks but is getting better (albeit very slowly). Hopefully, most voters will realize that putting the Republicans back in charge, particularly somebody who used to be Bush's budget director, would be a bad idea and that, whatever they might think about President Obama, he is taking the country in the right direction. The Republicans would need a VERY credible and/or charismatic alternative to have a chance in 2012.

7. I do not think there is a single viable repuke candidate out there..
they are all way out of touch with reality, and their ideologies are toxic and destructive. Whats-more, eight of the repuke front runners either have been on Fox's payroll or in bed with Fox in some other manner.
