What's next!?
Edited on Wed May-11-11 05:24 PM by DFab420
OK, maybe it's that I've had three espressos since lunch,

Maybe it's the joy of watching Obama play Trump like a fiddle...

But I am itching to know what's going to happen next.

The last two weeks have dropped the shoe on birthers and Osama bin Laden.

What's next!!? And when!?

I feel like this week has been so slow compared to last week. Anyone have any inklings as to the next major development?

Oil Subsidies???

let's hear the predictions!

1. I just went for a walk here in cupcake land, stopped to chat with a
neighbor who admired my collie. She told me about THREE JOBLESS families right within just a block of where we stood - in frakking Cupcake Land, Amerika, mind you.

5. That's from Thomas Frank's book "What's the Matter with Kansas?"

Cupcake Land is Johnson County, Kansas. We're the Koch brothers' neighbors, except they probably haven't lived in their home state for a long time.

3. I'm reminded of an old joke that is horrible and irrelevant.
It was from a movie called "Boondock Saints" (if one really wants to know I'm fairly sure it's first-page hit if one searches for it on Google or YouTube). Basically, the gist is that a genie grants a man's two greatest wishes for what he sees as wrong with the world so when it comes to his third wish he stops and thinks and wishes "I think I'll have a Coke."

That's what I'm thinking, let's stop, enjoy the moment and bask in the glory of having won over enemies domestic and abroad. "I think I'll have a Coke."

There's plenty of work for tomorrow but today is for resting and enjoyment of what has been wrought.
