So we have Repubs running away from an Obama showdown but still Newt has to "insist" he IS running

Trump
Huckabee
Ryan
Mitch "Mr. Electric" Damiels
all can't get far enough away from losing

Newt has to "insist" (google it) that he IS still running - Hey Newt (whispers) they are trying to tell you something

Scott Brown won't vote for the acidic Ryan Medicare plan.
George Allen is getting fuzzy on being a true Republican.

All that is left are Palin, Romney, RON PAUL, and Bachmann who have to run because it all they have- it is their business.
They are a mess and they know it. The Tea Baggers and the rest of their party is gasoline with matches at the ready.

At least Kerry and Edwards stood up to the inevitable flood.
These Republicans are pathetic.

Seems like the republicans should have had a "strong" frontrunner by now. I think ryan's their guy, but I'm not sure why they're waiting. Maybe I'm wrong. What do you think?

5. I think -- Ryan is going for 2016 at best

HE is in Wisconsin so a Senate run seems like a bad choice given the mess Walker and Ryan have made.

He is not running for POTUS in 2012 that is clear. He could hold onto his seat and let the world crash down around him. The Senate is a dream that he will have for a very very long time- they trumped themselves and they know it.

but that is just my opinion.
