:wow: Whaaattt!!!!

Palin's Secret Weapon: New Film to Premiere in June
By Scott Conroy

Shortly after Republicans swept last November to a historic victory in which Sarah Palin was credited with playing a central role, the former Alaska governor pulled aside her close aide, Rebecca Mansour, to discuss a hush-hush assignment: Reach out to conservative filmmaker Stephen K. Bannon with a request. Ask him if he would make a series of videos extolling Palin's governorship and laying to rest lingering questions about her controversial decision to resign from office with a year-and-a-half left in her first term. It was this abdication, Palin knew, that had made her damaged goods in the eyes of some Republicans who once were eager to get behind her potential 2012 presidential campaign.

-snip-
Bannon, a former naval officer and ex-Goldman Sachs banker, sees his documentary as the first step in Palin's effort to rebuild her image in the eyes of voters who may have soured on her, yet might reconsider if old caricatures begin to fade. The film will also appeal to staunch Palin supporters who have long celebrated her biting rhetoric and conservative populism yet know little about her record in Alaska and have perhaps written her off as presidential material.
"This film is a call to action for a campaign like 1976: Reagan vs. the establishment," Bannon told RealClearPolitics. "Let's have a good old-fashioned brouhaha."

-snip-
Divided into three acts, the film makes the case that despite the now cliched label, Palin was indeed a maverick who confronted the powerful forces lined up against her to achieve wide-ranging success in a short period of time. The second part of the film's message is just as clear, if more subjective: that Sarah Palin is the only conservative leader who can both build on the legacy of the Reagan Revolution and bring the ideals of the tea party movement to the Oval Office.

Rife with religious metaphor and unmistakable allusions to Palin as a Joan of Arc-like figure, "The Undefeated" echoes Palin's "Going Rogue" in its tidy division of the world between the heroes who are on her side and the villains who seek to thwart her at every turn.

3. Palin found today's answer to Leni Riefenstahl, apparently...
how apropos.... :eyes: We can only hope the series of books exposing her for the lying sociopathic cretin that she is, will make any discussion of this propaganda epic unnecessary.

4. I Just Threw Up In My Mouth.......
I guess she will announce that she will run for the Repug nomination when this movie airs in Iowa.

I wonder how she will deal with this tell all book that just came out "Blind Allegiance". It sound pretty damaging to her image. I'm sure she'll just say that because she such a threat that this book is all lies with the intention of taking her down. Poor me, poor me!!!

11. I subscribe to the theory that she is running...
because that is what the masters want her to do. They are sensing little chance to beat President Obama so they want her in to stir the pot. If needed go Rogue again and run as an Indie to insure the Teabaggers come out in vote in 2012 with the sole purpose of winning the Senate.

In theory not a bad idea, in reality they are going to lose the house anyway and Obama's coat tails should keep the Senate Dem.

13. I don't think the GOP powers want her in the race. Rove & others intensely dislike her.
She's not one of them. They regard her as unworthy and unqualified, taking the spotlight away from worthy candidates.

Rove has outwardly spoken harshly of her, as have a couple of other high profile Repubs.

Palin is all about money. Whatever she can do to make more money is what she will do. If she can make money by being a candidate for awhile, that's what she'll do. Huckabee got his own show on Fox after being a candidate; now he's a multi-millionaire building a mansion in Florida.

16. I think you're on to something there.
Six months ago the 2012 Senate election was looking like just as much of a bummer as the last one was. It's not often one goes into an election year with the Senate nearly tied, but with 23 Democrats or open seats up against only 10 Republicans.

Those are the exact circumstances a Republican would pray for if one wanted to take back the Senate--a perfectly secure base from which to launch a Senate takeover. But now, I'm already seeing all sorts of indicators which suggest the GOP is very nervous.

I suppose they should be, because this time next year we're going to be waving around their votes against a middle class tax cut while holding a new vote on the subject completely out of their reach, and there's not a damned thing they can do about it.

My favorite part of it is that this Democratic game plan was inadvertently agreed to by the Republicans during the tax cut compromise. Harry Reid and President Obama effectively secured the next election two years in advance by playing on Republican greed, and making them agree to a framework designed to destroy them not today, but in two years.

22. I knew she was going to run. She has to run. Her speaking fees are starting to take a hit
This is her only chance to run, by 2016 there will be nothing left of her fanbase. This gives a shot in the arm to her ability to charge high speaking fees going forward.

24. yes she does, but she also loves unwavering adulation from the masses
She wants to be ASKED to run.....she wants to be BEGGED to run......she wants the drama of having people pleading with her to run. Then she can play the tortured saint who, while humbled at the outpouring, feels she can be of more good to the people in her current role. Really it's her Evita Peron moment.....(paraphraseed)'Let me simply be the woman who brings her people to the heart of Peron..'.........to quote Bugs: 'What an ultra maroon.'

25. I think she knows she will lose the primary and with it all that cash that comes with
"I could have won". She will always want to be "the potential" because its worth more money to throw rocks at the convoy then to actually be in the driver's seat (see also: govenorship of Alaska).
