13. From +47 to -6. A swing of 53 points in 6 months
It's incredible what Republican over-reaching can accomplish in such a short time frame! Their choice is clear: Swing toward the center and get primaried by irate Teabaggers, or swing to the right and go down in the general election. And all the added millions funneled to targeted races might not do much to bail them out now that the Kill Medicare cards have already been shown. I'm beginning to undertand why the GOP leadership appeared appprehensive as to what the Tea Party infusion might mean to the future of their party, and for good reason.
