2. Stupid voters.

Seriously, I get being unhappy with any number of things the Democrats failed to accomplish, but the GOP was 100% upfront about their plan to screw America and voters still, in a fit of pique, voted for them. It kills me every time. We can only hope that this blip has proven what voters seemed to know in 2006 and 2008: Republicans are NOT working in our best interest. Dems certainly lack some spine and don't vote in lockstep, but at least they're not actively trying to screw us over every second of every day.

unless you're a Republican in which case even remembering who ran this country for most of the last decade is a difficult proposition. Apparently Obama has been President since 2001...at least as far as the memory-impaired American right-wing is concerned.
