With Boehner cutting off negotiations with the President, he is going for the default for his base.
That's what he wanted all along and now he will be the republicans' hero. The teabaggers rule the House now.

Boehner's base will suffer more than the indigent if we go under. Wall Street will pay. One sentence. He needs to demand one sentence.

2. The teabaggers don't rule the House? His base (teabaggers, other right wingers and
anti-government type)will kick him out if it ends up with a debt ceiling increase.

4. It's a new GOP. Teabaggers rule the House with their votes and they don't care about Wall Street.
There may be some republicans left who don't want default, but Boehner and his crowd need it to stay in power.
