1. SO true!

I had a good laugh this morning listening to Joe Scarborough criticize the President for not going to Capitol HIll and sitting Members down to talk to them and convince them to "do the right thing for America." Apparently, he thinks there was an election last night and new Representatives were elected to replace the ones who were there yesterday.

It was hilarious.

would have him on a hit list. They sure as hell don't want a cure for anything, really, but especially the common cold. Have you ever checked the OTC cold remedy selection at your pharmacy or grocery store?

I'd certainly have some reservations, yes. Then again, Obama's defenders do him no favors by making extraordinary claims for him, even in jest, such as that he has the ability to magically cure the common cold. This budget deal - and all his cumulative past capitulations - do not amount to the political equivalent of the cure for the common cold.
