I Respect Barack Obama
I respect Barack Obama. He never uses race to deflect criticism, whether warranted or unwarranted. He is such a bigger man than this right wing detractors, who never fail to use race when it is to their benefit.

He is a giant surrounded by dwarfs.

They can only aspire to be half the man he is...

2. If President Obama Used His Race As A Shield And (A) Sword
If President Obama used his race as a shield and a sword like Herman Cain and his defenders are doing he would be crucified.

6. I respect the man also.
He has a beautiful family,
and is obviously a loving father.

I don't agree with his Centrist positions, Politics of Triangulation,
and Faith Based Free Market Economics.

My problem with Centrists is that they agree with Republicans waaaaay too often.

"There are forces within the Democratic Party who want us to sound like kinder, gentler Republicans.
I want a party that will STAND UP for Working Americans."

7. The OP is about using race, why inject your cut & paste centrist remark?
You just can't tolerate a positive Obama thread can you?

9. You know what?
You are correct.
It was rude of me to jump in this thread with critical comments.
Mea Culpa.

I agree with your OP 100%

13. That Poster Is On To Something
Barack Obama should highlight his moral rectitude. It's in stark contrast to his opponents.

to claim to be the defender of the 99 percent, while actively working to defend corrupt banks with settlements and slash the safety nets of millions of Americans.

In fact, I consider it to be a very serious moral problem.

8. I think the President is kicking serious ass right now. I've never seen
the choices laid out so clear for people.

Everybody's been programmed to think he's failed at everything but he just keeps on getting business done, no matter what comes his way. Whether it's pirates, hurricanes, oil spills, market dives, whatever, he keeps doing his job. Sad to see him work so hard only to receive disdain for his efforts. Doesn't matter to him though. He keeps on working and conducting business whether you like it or not.

11. Could not agree more!!!
Senator Obama could have & many thought should have SCREAMED racism when the Right was pushing all these stories that Michelle Obama is known to describe white people as "WHITEY". Could you imagine if the same charges had been leveled against Cain's wife?
