Reading both DU and FR tonight is depressing.
The bastard mass murdering terrorist is dead. It happened under the leadership of our President and at the hands of our military and CIA.

I don't care if those who actually killed him vote republican and I don't think there is a conspiracy about the timing or anything else associated with it.

I am just happy it has happened.

5. According to my perception, most people on both DU and FR are pleased.
Of course there is an excellent chance we were looking at different threads.

6. But, as predicted, there are some FR posts giving Bush the credit
and calling Obama an "Opportunistic hypocrite".

9. I peeked in over there out of curiosity. A number of them commented simply that
they were glad he was dead, but more people were claiming "wag the dog" because they're still in denial about Obama's birth certificate &, to them, it's still a hot-hot story!. There were a few claiming Obama purposefully pre-empted "The Apprentice"! A few mentioned that bin Laden was killed a week ago; one said it was due to DNA tests performed & another suggested the week-long delay was due to timing the announcement to Obama's advantage  .

It is depressing to go there because it's basically where the lowest of the low congregate to write the most vile comments. Some of them read like grade-school boys' compositions filled with explicit gore (what they think should be done to bin Laden's body, for example), but mostly anti-social comments in general.
