Any night that's a bad night for Republicans is a good night for America.
This is a bad night for Republicans. In fact, they've had a rough few days. The birth certificate, the smackdown of Trump at the Correspondents' Dinner, and now Obama doing what Bush doing couldn't do. (Or more accurately, didn't want to do because it would've interrupted his plans for Iraq.)

Now, if we could get our elected Democrats to ACT LIKE DEMOCRATS, we'd have something.

1. That was my first thought, and my best friend's. And she tends toward the Dark Side
too often. She and I were on the phone tonight and the first thing she said was "I think he got reelected tonight." My first thought was - "a VERY bad night for reince priebus!

2. Now, if we could get the Democratic leadership to push the Progressive Caucus' budget.
You know, the one that actually CUTS THE DEFICIT?

Democrats: ACT LIKE DEMOCRATS!

3. If we can get Democrats to act like activists,
perhaps we can give Obama a true progressive congress....not that fake super majority he had for a minute!

9. I wish you and I could shout it loud enough for those lunkheads to hear! OUR lunkheads,
I mean. Especially our lunkheads who insist that a snail shell is better than a backbone.

5. Killing bin Laden is the neoconservative dream?
I'd argue the opposite, as it kills off their boogeyman.

8. I'm optimistic.
