August 1998 US Embassy Bombing In Nairobi. Where Any Obama Kin Among The Victims?
Just after I heard about the Navy SEALS finally nailing Osama bin Laden, I couldn't help but think about al Qaeda's August, 1998 attack on the US embassy in Nairobi, Kenya. Does anyone know if any of President Obama's close kin were among the victims in that bombing? I'm asking not only for curiosity's sake, but also avenging family still strikes chords among the gimme-caps and pickup-trucks sectors of the Bubbas who number among the nation's voters.

2. Very Funny--NOT
Hah. Hah. Very funny--NOT. I am NOT arguing the indisputable fact that Barrack Obama was born in Hawaii of an American citizen-mother and is thus a natural-born American, fully qualified to be elected President under the terms of the the US Constitution. Seriously, if any of President Obama's kin on his father's side of the family WERE injured or killed in the Nairobi, Kenya embassy bombing, President Obama has avenged them for his family, if not for Kenya as a whole. That is a talking-point and idea a LOT of southern and Appalachian Americans can relate to, something that the "They-attacked-us-but-we-got-distracted-and-we-never-found-them-because-we-didn't-think-it-was-important" Republicans CAN'T say. Such a notion might not appeal to the granola-and-happy-thoughts sector of the progressive intelligentia, but if it can broaden the coalition to re-elect President Obama, I'm all for it.
