A comment on Journalism
Edited on Mon May-02-11 02:43 PM by RandomThoughts
Has anyone tried to connect the dots of the story of a CIA operative captured in Pakistan a few weeks ago for killing two people in self defense?

Anyone think that is connected in anyway?

Anyone remember that story?

Or is Journalism repeating whatever story is told to the journalist by Intelligence reports?

Although at the time I thought that was CGI since he had the black and white chess board shirt on from the floor of certain groups.

Oh, and Fox using Usama, is for USA ma, again a reference to end of forever war, and using fear of terrorism. So this sounds more like a position shift in doctrine.

1. Yes, and at the time I wondered what he
was doing there. Not that it would be unusual but it seemed he was there by himself. Now I think the two cases could be related.

2. Yea, makes sense.
That kind of data dump, about Bin Laden dead, will really take up a few news cycles.

Is there anything else going on in the news, anyone heard any news on the corruption in Wall Street, and the needed corrections to the consolidations, and distribution systems?

Although I do think the announcement was the right thing to do, regardless of when or how he was killed. To get the forever fear concept of domestic passification further away.

Freedom requires courage, and no society that gives up freedom for total security deserves either, so I think it is good that moving away from fear state is a policy being advocated.
