"Intelligence officials had known about the house for years"

presumably going back to the Bush years. And never did squat about it. Why? You might well ask.

In August 2010, the courier unknowingly led authorities to a compound in the northeast Pakistani town of Abbottabad, where al-Libi had once lived. The walls surrounding the property were as high as 18 feet and topped with barbed wire. Intelligence officials had known about the house for years, but they always suspected that bin Laden would be surrounded by heavily armed security guards. Nobody patrolled the compound in Abbottabad.

Are you freakin' KIDDING me?! They never even bothered to investigate it?? Either our intelligence is much, much dumber than even I thought, or... :tinfoilhat:

also caused 9/11.

3. I remember the intelligence being quite accurate.

I remember Bush not taking any action on it.

Remember the briefing he got on August 6, 2001 titled "Bin Laden Determined to Strike Inside the United States"?

I also remember Bush and Co. claiming the intelligence was bad. They were covering their butts and blaming someone else for their own failings.
