How many celebrations will there be when Fred Phelps dies?
And will the same people who are condemning the celebrations of bin Laden's killing also condemn celebrations when Pastor Fred dies?

3. If only I'd be able make myself feel mournful
So I could wag my finger at others and maybe smugly quote MLK or something. But I'm sure I won't shed a tear then, either. Oh well.

6. Then again, the followers of Fred Phelps will not bomb Americans because of it.
But it would not be any better.

8. When he dies will his family/church stop doing their hateful protests? Will the pain they've caused
go away, will the funerals of those they've marred be wiped clean?

No? Guess I won't be celebrating then.

9. If Americans die as a result if Fred Phelps is killed
you will feel like an ass for cheering it on.

Just a word for the wise and the not so wise.

10. Phelps, there will be some. Cheney, there will be more.
And there will be someone to stomp on the celebration, because it is the nature of us. Celebrate. Enjoy this moment if is it in you to do so. I wish it were in me. I do really wish it.

13. I don't condemn
but don't cheer deaths either. So I probably wouldn't cheer Phelps'. I'd probably be amused if people decide to protest his funeral though.
