Br.Wms on NBC: Couldn't this been done before Iraq & saved countless lives--but he meant SADDAM!

EVEN PANETTA thought he meant, reasonably, that Brian Williams meant the shockingly reasonable question never before heard on NBC nightly news: why couldn't we have gone after Bin Laden INSTEAD of Iraq, and replied that they didn't have good leads on Bin Laden at the time. BUT NO! Brian Williams, who constantly praises his "Special Services" friends and connections on-air and jaws about all the things he's seen them do that he will NEVER BE ALLOWED to tell his viewers about, meant why didn't we assassinate SADDAM!

No joke! Ironically, the rest of the interview is spot-on, making this momentary lapse in the mask seem even more disturbing.

Oh and the way MSN puts it, CIA Chief Panetta says "Waterboarding aided bin Laden Raid."

Oh, and under timeline of Bin Laden, NBC has this priceless quote:

I'm surprised he didn't ask Panetta why we haven't assassinated Ghadafi. After all, apparently assassinations are OK, especially when they save American lives from an invasion of Iraq that Brian Williams said was really ALL ABOUT ONE MAN (for a minute, I thought he meant BUSH!!!) and was apparently OTHERWISE INEVITABLE (i.e. all those brave young americans died, according to Brian Williams, because we didn't take out SADDAM like we took out bin Laden!)

Brian Williams or Chuck Todd on Monday even tried to say that our actions in Pakistan made Nixon's invasion of Cambodia OK!!!!

These two dipshits are nothing but toadies constantly bragging about how they've been embedded with Special Services on background missions they aren't allowed to tell their viewers about.
