**That's** why he's not going.

Edit to spell "standing" correctly.

1. Yep. His humiliation leads to the best thing for the country.
Pardon me while I thoroughly enjoy the thought...

2. Leave him. Let him keep his small prick at home. Imagining an image of that
next to Mr. President well frankly is a waste of time.

4. Bush Is Really Handling This Better Then His Other Repug Colleagues......
He knows that he can't share the stage with Obama cause he knows what his accomplishments or lack there of are versus those of Obama's and he has the sense to stay in the background. This is unlike his Repug colleagues that are trying to change history and make Bush look better than he was. In this case you got to give credit to Bush for knowing his place.

5. If I were Bush
I'd be too embarrassed to show my face in public ever again, knowing a black man accomplished something in a little over two years that I couldn't accomplish in nearly eight.

But, we all know Dumbya never intended to get bin Laden in the first place. Frankly, I'll be quite happy never to see Dumbya's mug on TV ever again.

6. "Black Man"?
"I'd be too embarrassed to show my face in public ever again, knowing a black man accomplished something in a little over two years that I couldn't accomplish in nearly eight."

Not sure I understand the significance of the race? Is it more embarrassing that a "black man" as you say accomplished more than Bush?

12. I completely disagree
bush was many things, but one thing I never saw in him was any form of racial prejudice.

10. The "boos" & looks of contempt would make it even worse for Bush.
Not to mention he no longer has access to hundreds of bodyguards to make the chickenhawk feel safe enough.
