Breaking - Harry Reid dislocated his shoulder
and has a black eye after slipping while exercising outside in the rain.

Ouch!

Or exercising in the rain, same thing. Ouch. Injuries to elbow or shoulder suck.

3. One of the most painful experiences of my life. Dislocated shoulder-
and no one around me would pull my arm back into place.

6. True story
An oversized classmate knocked me over in a netball game when I was 13 and dislocated my shoulder.
I stayed home the next day and mom was supposed to take me to the doctor the day after, but I ate one my sister's Cadbury chocolate bar and she was so angry she hit me and saved my folks a doctor's bill. That was the only day I ever missed from school.

5. I feel for him
I tripped over my dog while running this morning (she WILL be taught to heel now), fortunately just bruises and scrapes. I hope he heals quickly.

8. OW!
Poor guy. As a 65-year-old, I find that I can't do all the things I used to do with the lack of attention I used to pay to them. These days, I have to be more careful, to avoid accidents. It's frustrating, since there's still this 30-something guy living in my brain.

The best example I can offer is traversing rocky ground while fishing along a river. I used to just walk on, relying on my peripheral vision and ankle and leg strength to keep me upright. No more. Now, I have to pick my way more carefully - a lesson learned painfully by falling.

I hope Senator Reid recovers quickly. Ouch!
