Did you support the release of photos of Abu Graib detainees being abused?
If so, do you think the death photos of Bin Laden should be released?

If yes to the first and no to the second, why is this different?

2. Yes, and yes
The only difference for some people, I suspect, is the fact that one is a D, and the other an R.

Principle always takes precedence over party for me.

3. no and no
death is not something to be glorified. I don't condone pics of our soldiers either, but flag draped coffins, yes...they are not personal, graphic or up close, and they serve a purpose...to remind us that war is a horrible thing

10. Agreed
Just because they are released doesn't mean you personally have to look at them.

12. Seems perfectly analgous. If we did it, we show it. Righteous or wrongful.
Despite the risk of adverse reaction.

8. Yes and no. Because Americans would not celebrate the photos from Abu Ghraib.

They would ask questions and be bothered by it.

13. Yes to both. Lack of transparency creates a lot of distrust.
Frankly, they now deserve any conspiracy theories that arise from not releasing the photos.

16. Exactly.
And the longer they wait, the more it will seem to be "doctored". Release them, and people can choose whether to view them or not, and put the CT to bed.
