Former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld tells Newsmax the information that led to the killing of Osama bin Laden was obtained through “normal interrogation approaches” and says the notion that terrorist suspects were waterboarded at Guantanamo Bay is a “myth.”

I heard him say the same in an interview when he frist reared his ugly mug.

The very next day he was back on right wing radio and tv saying that his words had been mischaracterized and that torture had EVERYTHING to do with finding Bin Laden. It was surreal.

On the flip side, Leon Panetta made a statement that the right wing wrongfully interpreted as saying that "absolutely (in Hannitys words)torture had everything to do with finding Bin Laden. After Hannity did this dirty deed, he says to his audience, "Now I wonder if the deomcrats are going to take him to the woodshed to make him change his story."

Icouldn't believe it. These guys are unbelievable. So if Panetta comes back to clarify and say that he never said that torture led to Bin Laden, then Hannity will say, see I told you, they took him to the woodshed last night.
