In a celebrity news-like segment of his show last night, Comedy Central pundit Stephen Colbert examined why terrorists — and specifically al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden — are “just like us.”
“He lived in a big mansion, he peaked in 2002 and has been in trouble with the law ever since,” he said. “He’s basically a fundamentalist Lindsay Lohan.”
“I’ve got to say, I love these details,” Colbert went on. “I can’t get enough of O-B-L!”
