is idiotic. Think of it. The swiss family Robinsons had pungy sticks and all manor of boobytraps set for the pirates. How much more would the worlds most heinous evil mastermind rig his domicile to protect, or at least punish those out to get him? I would. So, allowing the jig to be up was tantamount to gambling with american assets. Screw GOP punks that want to see Obama in International Court for war crimes. The audacity of that is breathtaking. I have read stories of police firing on a black man walking the boardwalk with a boombox held to his shoulder thinking it was a shotgun, and those idiots backed the police. Now, they are GUNNING for the man tasked with cleaning up their FUCKUPS. And washing their hands of the mess they engineered.

1. I can't imagine that there were not many weapons close at hand
It seems plausible to me that every room in the compound had weapons. So I'm waiting to learn more as the days and weeks pass.

Btw, I'd be way more worried if the story coming from people in the administration stayed the same each and every day. That would seem contrived to me.

2. But then any toilet paper he used would just have been wasted when he was wasted.
So it was more environmentally-friendly to shoot him while he was still on the john.

;-)

5. For all anybody knew
That whole damn place could have been wired with explosives, they had no idea until they went in there. It takes a lot of guts to go after suicidal maniacs that like to play with explosives, so if they shot everybody in the place as fast as they could shoot I wouldn't blame them one bit.
