Oil drops below $100 on worry of weaker US demand
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Oil-drops-below-100-on-worry-apf-1210835519.html?x=0

Strange headline.....

the real one should have been - SPECULATORS EVACUATING OIL AFTER DEATH OF OSAMA BIN LADEN.

snip - Analysts also said the lack of any terrorist retaliation of the killing of Osama bin Laden eased concerns about the safety of the world's oil fields.

It is no coincidence that the day after Bin Laden was assassinated - oil began to drop - and the value of the US greenback rose...which has also affected commodity prices.

1. .... and the gold and silverbubbles are starting to pop!

Bad news for gullible teabaggers who bought what Beck was selling them.

4. I hope it continues to drop, but we still need to get off the petroleum teat
no matter how "inexpensive" gasoline becomes. The oil suckers will continue to raise the price from time to time and might just stop refining as much or pumping as much. We are reaching Peak Oil (or have a few years ago) and the environmental devastation from extracting the remaining "hard" oil is too much to take. We must continue to use less and less fossil fuel. Conserve and diversify with renewable sources, etc.

I am glad to see oil drop because my business needs tourists. I just hope, for the climate crisis, that people will continue to use less.

Combining several trips into one and such.

Both of our cars have been getting a lot of garage time recently.
