OBL bought Pepsi and Coca-Cola by the case.
Osama bin Laden may have hated America, but he loved its soft drinks: Local shopkeepers say that people from Bin Laden's compound regularly bought Pepsi, Coke, and other popular brands in bulk. A shopkeeper in the area was "curious" why they bought their food in bulk, but never asked for fear of coming across as rude.

I've never known anybody who didn't have a marked preference for one or the other. I simply refuse to ever drink Pepsi, for example.

I'll take which ever the resturant has on tap, so to speak.

I should see if Youtube has it, but Lewis Black has a GREAT bit on pepsi vs. coke.

"Has anyone ever gone to a resturant and asked 'I'll have a coke please.' and the waiter says 'oh, we only have pepsi.' and so you reply 'Well FUCK YOU! I'm going across the street to Buckets O' Shit! Yes, Buckets O' Shit! The food may be lousy be at least they serve cokes, ASSHOLE!'"

Both have, or er, one of them had strange ideas as to the precepts of their religion.

21. Everyone knows he only bought it to show kids that old "experiment" where you put a nail in the pop
And let it sit for awhile until it starts decomposing.

You can almost see OBL saying, "See? This is what the Great Satan is doing to your teeth!"

Or he drank it...I think either is equally plausible.

23. This isn't that surprising. People in societies that strongly discourage drink....
such as modern fundamentalist muslim society and the turn of the century American society, in which the temperance movement was reaching its zenith, are great places for soft drinks.
