Playing Politics: 9/11 Widow Describes Slightly Contentious Meeting w/Obama on Fox News - FULL video

Today, President Obama visited Ground Zero and met with those affected by 9/11. Somehow, however, his visit seemed to look different to every person who witnessed it. Particularly cable news channels. MSNBC seemed thrilled as they eagerly discussed how the visit would totally show up tonight’s Republican debate. Meanwhile, Fox News was less enchanted. Witness the network’s interview with Debra Burlingame, a 9/11 widow, who was brought on to discuss Obama’s meeting with the victims’ families. That subject was broached for about two minutes before transitioning into a seven minute conversation of how Obama and Eric Holder are completely beholden to the “hard left.”

First though, Burlingame described the meeting as a very “social” and “informal” affair with the President telling everyone that he wasn’t going to make a prepared speech but, instead, go around and talk to each table personally. When he got around to Burlingame, she used the moment to press him on Holder’s controversial investigation into the CIA’s “enhanced interrogation techniques.” When Obama told her he didn’t have the power to order the Attorney General what to do, she pushed him to make a public statement on it. He said he wouldn’t and walked away, an action which seemed to leave Fox News’ Martha MacCallum visibly aghast. ... SNIP

==========

What a bunch of BULLSHIT!
She is Obama's biggest critic.
She is a former attorney.
She ambushes President Obama with a question about Eric Holder at a meeting that is supposed to be a solemn occasion.
And she 'just happens' to be the first 9/11 family member to be interviewed on FoxNews (in order to get air time to BASH President Obama) after Obama's private meeting with the families.

Totally had to be set up beforehand, you can tell by the prepared questions from the host.
The GOP just keeps getting more and more disgusting!

4. I'm just curious though
Do a lot of the 9/11 victims families hate President Obama and all Dems in general?

6. I doubt it. Don't forget that some of them were critical
of the Bush administration.

Check out "9/11 Press for Truth" about the "Jersey Girls" lobbying which resulted in the formation of the 9/11 Commission.

7. Have you heard of the "9/11 First Responders Bill"?
Look up who tried to oppose it. (I'll give you a clue - it wasn't the Democrats).

12. No. This woman started using the event to attack Democrats
almost immediately. She's a very ugly piece of work.

9. What Probe?
OK.........clue me in here if I'm missing something but wasn't the probe about the the Bush administration lawyers whose legal memorandums authorized the CIA harsh interrogation techniques and it was announced over a year ago no charges would be filed????

http://articles.cnn.com/2010-02-19/politics/bush.administration.memos_1_justice-department-office-of-legal-counsel-bush-administration-lawyers?_s=PM:POLITICS

The only other probe I can think of was about the destruction of CIA interrogation tapes and later it was also announced that no charges would be filed in that matter either...........

http://articles.cnn.com/2010-11-09/us/cia.interrogation.tapes_1_interrogation-videotapes-destruction-of-cia-tapes-justice-department?_s=PM:US

What the heck is she even talking about anyway?
