Did I just see Brian Williams try to equate Obama at the Correspondents' Dinner with
George Bush reading My Pet Goat to the elementary school children on 9/11/01? There is just no end to the attempts to rehabilitate the Chimperor's image, is there?

2. He was on Letterman the other night attempting the rehab stuff also.
Dave gave him no help. Williams is very sneaky and manipulated by the suits...

6. BW likes to show that he is important.
He had to talk about the important call that he received. That he had to speed to get to the studio. That he carries his passport with him all the time.

7. And the wife running out to move his car in the right direction to
get out of the driveway, many suitcases with changes of clothes. Dave just looked at him and said nothing. It's NBC and Dave may have had no choice. Very annoying guy (Williams.)

26. I think manipulated is the wrong word...
I mean it implies non-cooperation doesn't it? He's an accomplice. -Hoot

3. So, what should he have done?
Issued a press release, announcing "I can't go to the dinner tonight because there's a top-secret national security operation underway?"

16. +1, My first thought as well.
Obama has been praised for remaining cool that night, so now the right wing dopes need to try and come up with some other bit of theater criticism.

His opinion on anything is worthless, his accomplishments equal exactly nothing. Obama craps smarter than Brian Williams.

What an asswipe story. Wiping the asses of Bushco. What does that get you, NBComcast? Inquiring minds want to know.

21. Yeah, I saw that . . .
and lots of other examples of media gasbags covering Bush's ass. The word is out in the main stream media: Thou shalt glorify the Bush administration, no matter how much you have to falsify, distort or revise history.

I had no idea Williams was a 911 Truther.

that our leaders knew about beforehand.

24. I have so much distaste for Brian Williams, that I cannot express it all. On the night of the
election of Barack Obama, he made a statement that his wife was going to be so upset and he was visibly upset at the win. How he is always lauded as a paragon of Journalism is beyond me.
