Yesterday there was a funeral in town for a family of five who all died in the EF5 that crossed a few miles to the NW of our house ... so glad WBC didn't find this funeral.

WBC may learn that even AL's Southern Baptists don't have much tolerance for them -- people have survived a violent tragedy that took the lives of their relatives, friends, neighbors -- I don't think violence will be far from the minds of many if WBC manages to piss them off. It's never really gotten ugly enough for WBC. That could happen now. :(

People like Phelps are sick and I wish they would quit inflicting their sickness on everybody else.

I know Westboro Baptist is notorious but still, Christians everywhere should be protesting the Republican cruel budget cuts on the backs of the poor, and cuts to our public safety and emergency services.

18. They had announced that they would protest a military funeral
close to me today. If they showed up, there was zero press on it. I assume that they did not show up. I have the feeling that they are announcing that they will be everywhere just for the publicity prior to the event, even if they do not intend to be there.

No press is bad press.

Have they violated any association bylaws?

Have they violated any city or county ordinances?

pure and simple. They don't care about changing peoples hearts. I mean really, who would change from a loving God or no God to that hatred that they spew.

It is only for attention. The freaks among us support them quietly so they can go on living in their tax free church in a pretty nice way.
