2. Presumably captured materials having little or no intelligence value.

"Americans" getting a glimpse implies it's materials from the raid, with Americans in control of releasing it to the world.

4. Here's a couple that come to mind. 1). counter the "Osama died many years ago" crowd

2) Show bin Laden strolling around the compound as proof he was in that compound for other conspiracy theorists who want to claim the whole thing was some kind of fake moon landing.
