circumcision "party" in Philippines...
I know there are debates about this subject occasionally, which I take no side in, but this, to me, seems horrible.

2. OK now I will have to go out and pound my thumb with a hammer so I can
forget that photo... damn you. On a happier note I noticed they weren't a lot of people gathered around with machetes.

5. This is a social custom in Turkey as well
when little boys become "men." I think it's around age 8 or so. After the circumcision, everyone gives the boy gifts and there's a party and the boys are dressed up like little kings.
