6. Even double that he's not a billionaire and that matters

He's got a stack, his stack got much bigger during his VP terms, and that is what matters, the increase while in office. The meme that he has billions serves him, because he got his major wealth while holding office, he left with much, much more than he entered with. Some would have us believe he was always a billionaire, when the fact is he's been in government since I was a kid, only going to the private sector to make deals for later. It is vital that people know he gained all of his wealth during public sector employment.

4. Even half of their money when they die isn't much.

Big deal their heirs won't halve half of whatever they didn't burn through by the time they died. Don't get me wrong half of something is better than nothing but a bigger deal would be to give half of it away now when it can help people. X years in the future who knows how much they'll spend or divert to escape having as much subjected to being given away.

Then of course I'm sure for some of them there is the aspect of immortality by setting up their own charities named in their honor.
