3. I understand your sarcasm fully. But everything has its season, and I believe

this is big enough for us to acknowledge it and hear first hand about it to the degree the President wants to present it.
Then I do hope he goes back to saving our country domestically and otherwise, and I mean that sincerely.

7. When will Obama annouce those cuts?

He was supposed to do it at the State of the Union ... did not happen.
Then in his budget ... did not happen.
Then in his debt speech ... did not happen.

So what's the new prediction? When will he announce the major cuts to SS and medicare (this time)?

15. I wish them lots of luck with that.

Went out to lunch with friends and family and not one person wanted to talk about OBL. It's already played out. The main topics were the terrible real estate market and how tough it is for the graduating students in our family to find any kind of work. Discussing the "War on Terror" feels as anachronistic as wearing a bell-bottomed polyester pantsuit right about now.
