Bill O'Reilly is no stranger to stirring up controversy, but he's about to get himself into some big trouble... on-screen.

The outspoken Fox News anchor will play a murder suspect on an upcoming episode of the TNT detective series "Rizzoli & Isles."

O'Reilly—who will star as himself on the show—landed the killer role after visiting the set and touring the autopsy room last year, reports TV Guide.

"He took one look at the autopsy table and said, 'Yeah a lot of people would like to see me on that,'" says show creator Janet Tamaro, who has been pals with O'Reilly since working with him at the news series "Inside Edition." "I said, 'Well, how about you come back and do a guest spot.'"

O'Reilly, who is also friends with the series' conservative star Angie Harmon, will shoot his episode in July for a summer air date. Season 2 of "Rizzoli & Isles" kicks off July 11.

2. I like the show
Even though I can't stand Angie Harmon's politics. Looks like they intend to ruin it next season.

3. The show employs some hardcore lefties, too
That's just the way it is in Hollywood. You work with all kinds. There's no political litmus test that precludes anyone being hired on a TV set.

Boycotting the show is like boycotting a grocery store because O'Reilly shops there.
