ISLAMABAD - About 16 children who were living with Osama bin Laden in his Pakistani hideout were carefully watched by the al Qaeda leader, forced to study at home and rarely ventured out of the fortress-like compound. snip

Pakistani investigators searching the buildings after the raid found a room equipped with a drawing board that served as a home school for the children. snip

“They were very protective, very secretive about the children ... As you can imagine, the children may have blurted something out,” said the official, who declined to be identified as he is not authorised to speak to the media.

3. Big proponents on making English the official language, too, I'm sure.
Funny how stupid people can can demand a constitutional law professor read the Constitution when they can even spell it properly.

2. Hitler was a vegetarian
Stalin wrote poetry.

Kim Jong Il loves westerns.

And Osama bin laden home schools.

Just watch for this to be used as an argument against homeschooling. I wonder at what age level their bomb making skills are at?

15. Don't know about bomb-making, but
I bet they can quote the Koran really well. Of course only the suras that justify jihad I'm guessing. What I want to know is what languages do the children speak. I'm guessing Urdu of course since they did sometimes play with children in the neighborhood, but what about Farsi and Arabic?

10. If they went to public school they might have been exposed to ideas...
..incompatible with their fundamentalist views, oh, wait, this was in Pakistan. Never mind.

I bet they were actually teaching them math and stuff an not simply memorizing the Koran like in the madrasah.

11. So "Mr. Taliban" himself had educated women teaching
the children. Presumably, the girls and boys.
