RINOs , DINOs and the third factor.
Edited on Tue May-10-11 06:51 AM by The Backlash Cometh
We know the term, Republican in name only, and Democrat in name only. Do we have a term to describe a politician who has no party compass and votes wherever the money leads him? You all know these politicians. They may call themselves Democrats but they have close alliances, in business and friendship, with members of the other party.

These people are troublesome because they will cut deals that undermine the entire purpose of the two party system, leaving ordinary people without representation to resolve issues that affect them in their daily lives.

I'm in favor of using the term "Paki" to mean someone who always plays it in their favor, as in Paki-politician. Though that would probably not meet the approval of the PC crowd. So I challenge them to come up with something better, because I do believe the time has come for such a term to be added to our lexicon.

1. This mentality is also evident in the number of carpetbaggers
we see. In Iowa now, we have Christie Vilsack, a Dem, moving to another district for the express purpose of running for the House because we apparently have no Dems willing to stand up in that district. She's never lived there. We have seen this carpetbagging become entrenched in both parties and be used for offices up to governorships.

I really abhor this sort of retail politicking and believe that representation should come from within the district where a resident who knows and understands the local area runs.

2. I don't know which is worse.
Residents who know and understand the local area, also may have picked up some crooked baggage that has undermined the local area's legal process.

7. The terms I would use are "Congressman" and "Senator".
(By the way, "Paki" is a racial slur, deeply offensive
to some, so you may not want to use that even if
you don't mean it in a racially-slurring fashion.)

8. Thanks Tesha.
I had a feeling it would be offensive. Won't use it again.
