Former Senator Alan Simpson flips off the AARP

Former Republican Senator Alan Simpson gave the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) “the finger” during a meeting hosted by the Investment Company Institute. The Huffington Post reported that Simpson argued Social Security was a “Ponzi” scheme that was originally intended as a welfare program before he lashed out at the AARP.
